The method for converting the ton price of seamless steel pipes to the meter price is as follows:
Calculate weight per meter
Using formula:
Weight per meter (kg/m)=(outer diameter wall thickness) x wall thickness x 0.02466
For example, a seamless steel pipe measuring 219 × 6 has a weight of 31.52kg per meter.
Calculate the price per meter
Price per meter (yuan/m)=Weight per meter (kg/m) × Price per ton (yuan/ton) × 0.001
For example, when the price per ton is 6000 yuan/ton, the price per meter of 219 × 6 seamless steel pipe is 189.1 yuan.
For example, 1 ton of 377 × 10 seamless steel pipe with a weight of 90.55kg per meter can be converted to approximately 11.04 meters.
The above method is applicable to the conversion of ton price and meter price of seamless steel pipes of different specifications
